Jewels is fast becoming a sought after teacher for intermediate and advanced students. Her extensive background in traditional Middle Eastern dance helps her bring her students to the next level and make the challenging breakthroughs that will truly make their dance shine. She is eager to bring her engaging and illuminating teaching style to events in Washington, Oregon, and California. This year she will be teaching at the 6th Annual Shimmy, Shake and Share in Vancouver, Washington; Jamballah Festival in Portland, Oregon; Spooktacular in Tacoma, Washington; and Beli Danse Hafla in Boise, Idaho.
Jewels is also available for private instruction for the dancer who wants one on one instruction to hone in on her specific needs and goals. Whether you want your drum solos to pop or your sword work to shine, Jewels can assess your specific strengths and weaknesses as a dancer and give you the tools and drills to help you excel.
Jewels is teaching an intermediate level class which incorporates zill drills, veil and shimmy drills into an hour long class. The class is held on Wednesdays at 6pm at Znama Dance Studio, 232 SE Oak, Portland, Oregon. Classes are $10 drop in and $48 for a 5 class card.
